Description

  • 10.6cm. height11.3cm. diam. 
engraved and incised on the exterior of lid with birds (heads now defaced) within foliate cartouches, the body with further palmettes, interiors of lid and body filled with carved calligraphic bands on an etched ground

Condition

The heads of the birds on the lid and bodies of quadrupeds also on lid intentionally carved off, some minor nicks and scratches, the surface with some discoloration, also partly due to light oxidisation, as viewed.
