The thangka is cut on the sides and maintained by tapes on the sides. There are paper reinforcement strips on the back ecpecially to the upper part and a vertical in the middle. There are areas of loss to the pigments of the painting overall with additional scratches. There are two main vertical and horizontal creases in the cloth in the middle. There are old areas of restoration especially to the main figure on its arms and face.
