Provenance

Acquired from Jean-Claude Moreau-Gobard, Paris, in the early 1970s (according to the current owner).
With certificate by Jean-Claude Moreau-Gobard, Paris, 30th March 1971. 

Condition

A ca. 9.5cm long casting flaw running across the forehead from the hairline to the bridge of the nose. Three ca. 5cm, 8cm and ca. 5 cm long cracks/ casting flaws to the left side of the figure's face. A ca. 6cm long horizontal crack to the neck and a ca. 4cm long crack to the usnisa. The tip of the usnisa is missing.
