représenté assis dans le style européen sur un trône, le visage serein, les yeux mi-clos, les cheveux coiffés en petites boucles et assemblés en un haut chignon

Provenance

Acquired in Paris in the early 1970s by the current owner.
With certificate by Jean-Claude Moreau-Gobard, Paris, 22nd July 1972. 

Condition

Middle finger of the left hand broken off and missing. Two small casting flaws/holes to the lots base beneath his feet. The surface very smooth suggesting it may have been polished. According to Moreau-Gobard the figure may have been made using the lost-wax technique
