The head is attached to a a black stone base. An examination of the face and head with a UV lamp revealed a ca. 3cm long area of restoration to the upper lid of the buddha's left eye and a ca. 3 cm long area of restoration to the lower lid of the buddha's left eye, it revealed a ca. 3x2,5cm large restored area to the left side of the buddh'as mouth, a ca. 3x3cm wide restored area to the left part of the buddha's chin, and a ca. 3,5cm long area of restoration to the right upper lip. There is also a chip to the tip of the nose, losses to both tips of the earlobes, light overall wear, some small losses to the raised parts of the hair traces of white pigments to the recessed parts of the hair, and two paper labels to the back of the head and the base. The stone a slightly pinkish tone.
