Condition

It has not been possible to see the work entirely unframed. The canvas is not lined and slightly undulating. There is an uneven varnish preventing UV light from fully penetrating, however examination under UV light appears to reveal a few small lines and a few tiny dots of retouching in the upper left quadrant. There are a few flyspots in places, notably to the right part of the upper edge, and small scattered dots of dirt ingrained in the varnish. There are a few lines of stable craquelure, most predominately to the sky. This work is in overall good condition and could benefit from a light clean.
