Condition

The colours are brighter and more contrasted in the catalogue illustration than in the original work. There are pinholes located along the edges. A nail is located in the center of the left half of the canvas, which is inherent to the artist technique. Faint handling marks are visible along the edges, most notably along the lower edge. In the lower left quadrant, small scratches to the surface have resulted in tiny associated losses. This work is in good condition.

Catalogue Note

PLEASE QUOTE PLACE ON LEFT PAGE: FR:

ENG:

In the thick jungle full of different greens, leafy greens and earth worms, mysterious indigenous people hide. Often, they are Pigmies in this region. The civilized rarely encounter them because they are fearful and sometimes they do not you don't hear them approaching. At times, they start guttural chants, music that will make you SOAR.
