Romanée St. Vivant 2002 Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Côte de Nuits, Grand Cru2 very slightly ink smudged labelsAt 7 years old from magnum. Not a very deep colour. Surprisingly earthy on the nose. Damp forest elements. Elegant finesse, with a certain 'lightness of being'. A touch 'spiky' in that RSV way, but then the sweetness kicks in. Cassis notes at the end. A medium-term keeper.
