Château Lafleur 1990 Pomerolu. 3bn, slightly glue-striped and bin-soiled label, 1 slightly torn labelComposed of 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Franc. Wonderfully concentrated, chocolatey bouquet. Beautifully spicy, ripe fullness on the palate. Very deep middle power. Rather like the 1982 about ten years ago. Last tasted from double magnum and very blackberry and sweet with fascinating notes of aniseed. Already drinking very well indeed even in this large format.
