Condition

Overall in good condition. The pewter surfaces with very minor fine scratches, light scattered pitting and tarnishing consistent with age and gentle handling. The clock face with a minute scratch measuring approximately 2 ¼ inches long and not visually distracting. The largest clock hand with very light pitting in one area, not visually distracting. The recessed areas with some surface soiling concentrated to the numbers. The outer edges of the front of the clock with very minor indentations throughout consistent with gentle handling. The abalones present very well when seen in person and beautifully complement the design of the clock. Functionality of the movement is not guaranteed and it could need service at the buyer's discretion. The clock with an iconic design displays exquisitely rendered decoration enhanced by shimmering abalones.
