Condition

Overall in good condition. The raw silk upholstery with some scattered loose threads, consistent with age and and gentle use. The gilt iron surfaces present with scattered minor scratches, abrasions, light wear and some minor losses to the gilt patina, consistent with age and gentle use. The gilding with some slight darkening, consistent with the natural aging process of the material over time. A superb example of Frank's subtle use of classical decoration.
