Condition

Overall in good condition. The leather is in well-preserved condition and has acquired a rich patina with age. The leather surfaces with some discoloration, minor surface scratches, rubbing, and wear mainly concentrated on the armrests and back rests, consistent with age and use. The chair illustrated in the left in the catalog presents with a small cut in the leather on the proper right armrest just below the upper edge measuring 1 ¼ inch, not visually distracting. The leather seams present with some slight loosening to the lacing, stable and not visually distracting. The iron surfaces present with some minor scuffs, very minor paint loss, surface scratches, and abrasions scattered throughout, consistent with age and use. An iconic example of the model with a beautifully aged leather surface.
