Condition

Overall in good condition. All three stools stand very well overall and are fully functional, with four legs presenting slight movement, stable. The ebonized wood with minor surface scratches, abrasions and scuffing, consistent with age and use. The seating area with some irregularities to the wood surface and texture that are inherent to the material, not visually distracting. The seat of one stool with some concentrated abrasions and indentations resulting in areas of discoloration, the largest area measuring approximately 1 inch long. The leg of one stool with a small area of indentations measuring approximately 1 x ⅛ inch; one side of a different leg from the same stool with repeated signs of abrasion and discoloration measuring approximately 5 x 1 in. A rare variation of an iconic model by Perriand, the stools were commissioned for the French ski resort of Les Arcs in Savoie.
