Condition

Overall in very good condition. These guéridons have remained in the same family since the period. Both guéridons present with a stable and sturdy structure and have been re-lacquered in keeping with the designer's original intent and presents a warm cream tone, which is beautifully accented by the luminous gilded decoration encircling the table tops. The lacquered surfaces with some very minor scratches and scuffing concentrated to the tabletop, consistent with gentle use. The gilt circumference and underside of the tabletop with some minor, scattered areas of discoloration, the largest measuring 2 inches long, and not visually distracting. These chic and functional guéridons are offered en suite with lots 13, 14, and 15.
