Condition

Overall in very good condition. The polished metal surfaces present with scattered minute surface scratches and occasional minor rubbing on the polished surfaces, visible upon close inspection and consistent with gentle use. The metal edges of the frame with minor traces of white paint, not visually distracting. The cushion has been reupholstered with dark blue velvet fabric that beautifully complements the painted and polished aluminum surfaces. The blue bolsters were added later by a professional decorator and they pair well with the original form. The present model was originally designed for fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld and therefore named, "K.L."
