Condition

Overall in very good condition. The wood appears to have been refinished at some point in the history of the piece and has been beautifully preserved, presenting with occasional fine surface scratches, areas of light discoloration and very minor abrasions concentrated to the desk corners and the drawers, consistent with age and gentle use. The tabletop presents with a few slightly larger surface scratches to the proper left side visible upon close inspection, the largest measuring approximately 3 inches long. The brass elements with very minor surface scratches, not visually disruptive. One of the drawers with some traces of adhesive residue on the interior. The desk is accompanied by an original working key. The present model is a wonderful example of modern Danish design.
