Condition

Overall in excellent condition. The cabinet opens by two doors and is divided into two compartments with two adjustable shelves each (lacking brackets). The metal surfaces throughout with scattered extremely minor surface scratches and abrasions, consistent with age and use. The cabinet is accompanied by two original slate tops that install at the top of the cabinet. The slate tops present with slight scuffing and minor discoloration, consistent with age and gentle use. The interior with occasional minor chips to the wood, consistent with gentle use. The back side of the cabinet with evidence of drywall and adhesive left after the cabinet was removed from a wall, not visible when the cabinet is installed hanging on the wall. The present lot is a wonderful example of Paul Evans's unique approach to American Studio design. The present model is offered en suite with lots 138 and 139, which present two Paul Evans cabinets from the same series.
