“In 100 years time [the Medicine Cabinets] will look like an old apothecary. A museum of something that’s around today” (Damien Hirst cited in: Exh. Cat., New York, L&M Arts, Damien Hirst: Medicine Cabinets, 2010, p. 139).
The colour in the catalogue illustration is fairly accurate.
This work is in very good and original condition. All surface irregularities are in keeping with the artist's choice of found media. Very close inspection reveals some tiny specs of media and handling marks to the extreme overturn edges of the cabinet.
