Condition

(i) Executed on cream laid paper, not laid down, affixed to the mount at all four corners with transparent plastic supports. The right edge is deckled with a few minor nicks. Recto: There is a tiny paper loss to the upper left corner and two small tears (the largest of which approx. 0,3 cm long) towards the upper right corner. There are three small repaired tears (the largest of which is approx. 0,5 cm long) to the lower edge. There is a repaired tear (approx. 1 cm long) to the centre of the upper edge. There are a few flattened creases in places, notably to the upper right corner. There are two dots of pigment loss to the figure's hair, possibly original. Colours appear to have slightly faded. The sheet is light stained with scattered dots of foxing. Verso: There is some paper remnant along the lower edge and two spots of paper skinning with associated glue remnants. The sheet is light stained with a few faint dots of foxing. This work is in overall very good condition. (ii) Executed on cream laid paper, not laid down, affixed with transparent plastic supports at all four corners. The left edge is slightly deckled. There are a few minor flattened creases, predominately along the left edge and to the lower left and right corners. The sheet is a bit light stained. This work is in overall very good condition.
