Condition
The picture is relined which is providing a stable structural support. There are two areas of discoloured restoration (one on the head on the back and white dog and another in the top left corner) - the picture would benefit from having these removed and more sensitive restoration carried out. The paint surface appears a little dirt and the picture would benefit from a light clean. UNDER ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT There are retouching to the areas mentioned above. Frame The picture is contained in a moulded plaster and gilt frame.
