  • miniature 4 x 2.4 cm
wearing a white dress with gold lace and embroidery, a pearl necklace and headdress part-covered by a fine veil, gilt-metal frame, the glazed reverse with trellis pattern hair work over a pink ground, the rim inscribed: Madame Mère 1810 MN 854GN229

Condition

Some surface dust and slightest dry mould on surface of miniature (easily removable). Glazed reverse is covered with glue from old labels which somewhat obscures the hairwork below. Some dark deposits on rim of gilt frame.
