Catalogue Note

“A VERY RARE AND IMPORTANT ITEM” (Wood). THE FIRST COMPLETE COPY TO APPEAR AT AUCTION IN OVER 40 YEARS; only the Martin copy (which had a plate in facsimile) is recorded in ABPC. The present copy would appear to be a mixed issue, the first part (1784) with German text, while the second part (1786) is in Latin.
