Catalogue Note

A collection of views of Hawaii, including the town hall and Lunalilo Ka Moi Mausaleum in the Kawaiahao Church, both in Honolulu. Chase was in and around Honolulu from 1856-1885. he took over Joseph W. King‘s studio in 1862 as "Cosmopolitan Photo Gallery", a studio that burned down in 1877.
