A RARE BRITISH MILITARY INTELLIGENCE HANDBOOK ON ARABIA, marked "CONFIDENTIAL" on the upper cover and title. The foreword states "This report covers the countries in Arabia previously known as the Hejaz, Nejd, and Asir, and now included, with some outlying districts of the peninsula, in Ibn Saud's dominions under the title of Sa'udi Arabia". This detailed report covers all aspects of Arabia, including its history, system of government, population, political and physical geography, climate, communications, resources, and armed forces, together with notes on Wahhabism, and maps and plans covering air and sea routes, tribal areas, plans of Jedda, Mecca, Medina, Riyadh, and Taif, communications, watering points, frontier posts and garrisons, tribes of Asir, sketches, and a general map.
