Catalogue Note

RARE. Anders Christian Barclay Raunkiær (1889–1915), was a Danish explorer and author. In 1912 he made a journey in eastern Arabia on behalf of the Royal Danish Geographical Society. Tragically he died of tuberculosis shortly after returning to Copenhagen, at the young age of 25.
