Condition

Overall very good condition. The glass with some scattered minor air bubbles and particulate inclusions inherent in the making and not visually detractive, including one minute air bubble just below the decorated band which is open to the surface. The outer edge of the foot with a small area approximately 1/4 inch wide where the iridized surface appears to be lifting slightly, stable. The vibrant red ground displays a subtle iridescence, and the dripping iridized decorative band beautifully accentuates the elegant form of the vase. The interior with some traces of surface soiling. A superb and highly striking example displaying outstanding coloration and exquisitely rendered decoration. Please feel welcome to contact the department for additional images of this vase.
