Condition

Overall very good condition. The shade displays a warm, vibrant color palette. When viewed firsthand, the flowers present an overall more nuanced palette with tones of soft pink, magenta, coral and crimson red, which are not fully represented in the printed catalogue illustration. The shade with approximately 20-25 hairline cracks dispersed throughout which have been recently stabilized by a professional glass conservator. The base is in very good condition and displays a rich brown patina with occasional minor surface scratches, abrasions, and rubbing to the patina consistent with age and gentle use. The base with some minor surface soiling and oxidation. With period sockets and paddle switches. With a period finial with minor wear and a small shallow bruise adjacent to the knop. A beautiful example of the model displaying a richly saturated "spring" color palette.
