Condition

Overall very good condition. When viewed firsthand, the shade displays an exceptionally rich and vibrant palette. The striated background tiles present slightly more blue and purple than pink compared to the printed catalogue illustration. The shade with approximately 6 hairline cracks dispersed throughout which have been recently stabilized by a professional glass conservator. The shade with some extremely light surface soiling concentrated to the contours adjacent to the leadlines. The base is in overall very good condition and displays a rich brown patina with occasional minor surface scratches, abrasions, and light rubbing to the patina consistent with age and gentle use. The base with some extremely light and minor traces of surface soiling and oxidation to the recessed portions of the design. All sockets and paddle switches appear original and undisturbed. With a period finial with threaded pin in very good condition with light wear and a small shallow bruise adjacent to the knop. A superb example of the model displaying an exceptionally rich and saturated glass selection.
