Condition
Overall very good condition. This vase bears Tiffany’s “A-Coll” mark, indicating that it was personally selected by Louis C. Tiffany for his personal collection at Laurelton Hall in Laurel Hollow, New York. It’s mark is successively numbered with lot 306, possibly indicating that the two vases were accessioned by Tiffany at or around the same time. The glazed surface displays a vibrant apple green hue with a few scattered minute irregularities inherent in the making and not at all visually detractive. The glaze with some minor craquelure throughout, stable. This piece has been examined under blacklight and does not show any evidence of prior restoration. An exceptional example displaying the wonderful artistry of Tiffany’s ceramics.
