Condition

Overall in very good condition. The wood surfaces with scattered scuffs, scratches, dents, abrasions, and minor areas of rubbing and discoloration not visually distracting and consistent with age and gentle use. The burls of the lamp's body are all intact and original, with surface soiling to the recesses of the deeper burls. The body with some losses that have been professionally and sensitively restored. The base with some scattered losses, the largest measuring approximately 3/8 x ½ in. The burlap shade is original and presents with scattered minor frays and faint warping, as visible in the catalogue illustration, and its metal frame with a few losses to the paint, all consistent with age and gentle use.
