Condition

Overall in very good condition. The wood with a few scattered scuffs, scratches, nicks, and abrasions, all consistent with age and gentle use; the underside with more prominent areas of scratches, not visible when the bin is upright. There are natural knots, irregularities, and separations in the wood grain, typical for Inland fir, which have been reinforced with wood infill to areas by Molesworth at the time of production; one side edge with some hairlines with scattered losses to the infill. The side edges with some scattered old wormholes, the largest measuring approximately ¼ x 1/8 in. The bottom of the interior with a faint residual stain measuring approximately 1 x 1 ¼ in.
