Condition

Overall in very good condition. The wood surfaces with faint and minor scattered scuffs, scratches, light rubbing and faint discoloration, largely concentrated to the lower quadrants of the feet and outer edges of the front aprons. The two vertical poles each with two areas of pronounced rubbing and abrasions to the back upper edges, the largest of these areas measuring approximately 5/8 x 1 5/8 in. The central stretcher of one chair with an abrasion to the proper left edge measuring approximately 1 x 1 ¼ in. There are natural knots, irregularities and separations in the wood grain, typical for Inland fir, and this has been reinforced with wood infill in areas by the designer at the time of production. The leather surfaces minor signs of wear and rubbing, all consistent with age and gentle use. The brass tacks with some minor surface scratches and areas of rubbing, not visually distracting and consistent with age and gentle use. Each chair presents with a charming routed "Western" motifs such as pine trees, arrows and wildlife, characteristic for seating executed by the Wyoming Furniture Company.
