Description

All in the Byzantine revival style; the bracelet and necklace set with variously cut sapphires, rubies and emeralds and brilliant-cut diamonds, bracelet length approximately 185mm, necklace inner circumference approximately 420mm, each with Greek maker's mark, accompanied by a fitted case, some gemstones deficient; and a ring, the centre collet-set with a cabochon garnet to a domed surround applied with filigree decoration, size M, Greek maker's mark.

Condition

The necklace and bracelet stamped with 750 for 18 carat gold and Greek maker's mark (Ω u 18), diamonds bright and lively, sapphires, rubies and emeralds each well-matched for colour, typical inclusions visible under magnification, some with chips or rubbed facet edges. Localised areas of tarnish, both clasps close securely, with additional safety catches, necklace missing a ruby and an emerald, bracelet missing a ruby and an emerald, otherwise condition good. Total gross weight approximately 132 grams. Underside of ring stamped with K22 for 22 carat gold and Greek maker's mark Ω 33. Garnet with some light abrasion to surface, scratches to metal consistent with wear, gross weight approximately 13.5 grams, in good condition.
