Catalogue Note

The sinuous design of the present demi-parure is inspired by the use of animal horns in Neolithic jewellery. As part of the 'Dawn of Art' collection, they were unveiled at an international jewellery exhibition in Athens in 1971.

Cf.:
Ilias Lalaounis, Metamorphoses, Ilias Lalaounis, 1984, pg. 30, 31, for an identical necklace and pair of ear clips.
