Second edition, folio (300 x 185mm.), printed title in red and black, engraved portrait, additional pictorial title and 10 plates, 3 with volvelles (and one as yet uncut at p.200), one woodcut plate (at 3G4), one full-page engraved illustration (on 3O4v), woodcut and engraved diagrams and illustrations in text, folding table (at N1), contemporary calf, some soiling, browning and damp-staining, tear in 3O4 crudely repaired, title and portrait laid down and repaired (slight loss to portrait), binding rubbed, corners repaired, rebacked
