Catalogue Note

This is one of numerous editions of Regiomontanus's calendar (first printed in Nuremberg in 1474), issued in Latin (as here) and German, which contains a perpetual calendar, tables for Easter, the paths of the sun and the moon and information on the different types of eclipses.

The final quire contains 4 leaves that have been pasted together to form 2 leaves, so that the paper is thick enough to support the metal pointer.
