Catalogue Note

An early and comprehensive mathematical bibliography of around 10,000 entries, comprising works on arithmetic, bookkeeping, physics, astronomy, optics, architecture, ballistics and others. Murhard studied in Kassel and Göttingen but went travelling between 1798 and 1801, which would account for the delay in publishing between parts 2 (1798) and 3 (1803) of this bibliography.
