The marble base with minor scuffing and a few minor nicks to the edges throughout. Lamp 1: The lamp rests at a very slight angle which is not visually disruptive. One upper corner of the base with a minor loss which measures approximately 5/8 in. square, another lower corner with a minor chip approximately 1/4 in. and neither are visually disruptive. Lamp 2. One flat edge of the base with a v shaped carved groove running vertically which measures approximately 1 3/4 in. One lower corner with a loss which measures 1/4 x 1 1/4 in. and is not immediately visible when the lamp is upright. Another corner with two minor chips to the top left and lower right corners, each measuring 1/8 in. square and are not visually disruptive. Overall a rare pair of floor lamps that are a quintessential example of Edgar Brandt's oeuvre in wrought iron.
