Both sets overall in very good condition consistent with age and gentle use The faux shagreen surfaces present with a faint yellowing overall and very minor seam separation between the panels, appears stable and not visually disruptive. The outside edges with very minor rubbing and scuffing throughout. The interior wooden surfaces with minor rubbing and scuffing throughout which are not immediately visible when the tables are upright. Set 1: Small: The lower central interior panel on one leg presents with minor shrinkage and separation, appears stable and is not immediately visible when the table is upright. Medium: One corner of the top surface with a white spot which measures approximately 1/4 in. diameter, is not visually disruptive and may come out with a gentle clean. The upper central outer panel of one leg with a scratch which measures approximately 1 1/2 in. Large: The top central surface with an isolated area of scattered reddish markings which measures approximately 1 1/2 x 4 in, not visually disruptive and may come out with a gentle cleaning product. The adjacent panel with a minor scratch which measures approximately 1 in. and is not visually disruptive. The upper right outer panel of one leg with a scratch which measures approximately 2 1/2 in. The outer edge of one leg with a loss to the faux shagreen, measuring approximately 6 1/4 in x 1 in. Set 2: Small: The top surface with isolated losses, lifting and cracking to the faux shagreen in an area measuring approximately 8 x 7 in. concentrated to one upper corner and revealing the wooden surfaces below, exhibits movement in some areas and should be stabilised to prevent further losses and movement. The lower outside left panel on one leg with a hairline crack to the faux shagreen which measures approximately 1 1/2 in. and appears stable. Medium: The outer edge of the top surface and lower edge of one leg with a minor hairline crack to the faux shagreen, each measuring approximately 1 in. and appear stable. Large: The the top surface with minor hairline cracks and shrinkage to a few panels, the longest approximately 2 1/4 in. and are not visually disruptive. Two functional and decorative sets of nesting tables that present very well overall.
