Condition
The canvas has not been lined. The work is in excellent original condition with rich passages of impasto throughout. There are a few hairline surface cracks in the sky, however these are only visible on very close inspection. The work is clean and ready to hang. UV light inspection reveals no evidence of any retouching or restoration. Held in the original gilt frame.
