Description

This work is accompanied by a manuscript letter (torn) dated 1895 and addressed to a Mr J R Blair in Cleveland, Ohio, containing detailed instructions on how to set the dial up for various latitudes including New York.

Condition

Crack to cast iron bowl directly beneath marble disc. All material weathered as expected due to outdoor installation.
