Condition

Generally good near original 1/8 inch pile with small scattered areas of wear low to knotheads and spot foundation, mostly in central area on either side of the medallion; minor foldwear on sides low to foundation, not extensive; scattered moth damage on reverse---also not extensive; discolored areas upper left approximately 20 x 16 inches; vertical foldwear are in upper left corner; partial end guard borders now secured with a binding stitch; original selvages with some later overcasting, now all secured; dense robust weave, sound fabric and good overall condition. Please note that a license may be required to export textiles, rugs and carpets of Iranian origin from the United States. Clients should enquire with the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regarding export requirements. Please check with the Carpet department if you are uncertain as to whether a lot is subject to this restriction or if you need assistance.
