Description

  • 133.5cm. high, 169cm. wide, 216cm. deep; 4ft. 4¾in., 5ft. 6½in., 7ft. 1in.
in the late 16th/early 17th century style, the cresting carved with a scrolled boss flanked by fruit-filled stylised cornucopiae above an arcaded headboard, the uprights surmounted by pinecone finials, on gadrooned bulbous feet, marked 'R.B.',

Condition

A very decorative bed displaying minor overall wear, the columns to the headrest are in need of some professional attention, as visible from the photograph. There are marks and scratches overall, and some flaking to the painted decoration. The crest with old repair patches. Includes bed base.
