original canvas, slightly loosen; dirty, would benefit from a superficial cleaning ; some little lacunae due to traces of nails from top to bottom along the right edge near the frame (the painting has probably been enlarged) ; one lacuna in the top left corner near the frame ; some flaking and little lacunae across the surface ; some craquelures on the characters' garments, especially on the man's blue jacket on the left (visible on the catalogue) ; no repainted areas visible under UV light ; traces of old repainted areas, not visible under UV light, and a little hole, on the right lower corner along the frame ; the painting will come out very well after cleaning it ; very good overall condition
