each finely carved and pierced, the stylised confronted crested birds with long tails, the stone of a pale celadon colour

Provenance

Acquired in the 1930s, Beijing (by repute).

Condition

The plaques are in good condition, with some minor nicks to the extremities, and natural inclusions in the stone. The serial number is written on the base of both in clear polish. The colour is slightly more celadon compared to the catalogue.
