  • 44 cm, 17 3/8  in.
each modelled seated on a platform, their bodies turned to face the other, detailed with large bulging eyes and mouths agape, their tufts of fur detailed in black

Condition

Both figures have various firing imperfections and losses, in particularly to the edges. There are cracks running from the chest to the back of the lion illustrated on the left of the catalogue, with associated restoration, and an approx 3.1 x 3.3 cm area of restoration on the front of the base. There are some losses to the edges of the base to the other lion, with the widest (approx. 4.3 cm) on top of the base.
