Description

  • 11 cm, 4 3/8  in.
each rising from a short foot to a flared rim, the exterior incised and enamelled with a pair of sinuous dragons chasing 'flaming pearls', the base with a six-character mark in underglaze blue, the covers similarly decorated.

Condition

One cover has a chip to the rim. One bowl has two chips to the rim, one of which with associated hairline (approximately 1.7 cm), and a further hairline (approx. 3.7 cm) to the rim. The other bowl has two hairlines (both approx. 0.4 cm) to the rim. There are also some minor firing imperfections.
