Description

  • 19 cm, 7 1/2  in.
of rectangular section, intricately carved to the exterior with scrolling flowers above a key-fret band at the foot, the interior rim panelled with four five-clawed dragons writhing among ruyi shaped clouds, the Japanese interior with a gilt carp against black lacquer

Condition

There is some expected surface wear on the interior. There are some age cracks and losses to the lacquer, particularly around the extremities.
