  • The largest: 6 cm, 2 3/8  in.
comprising: a monkey holding a peach, wood stand; a pale celadon and russet 'goat and eagle' group; a pale celadon and russet toad; a mythical beast grasping a lingzhi stem in its mouth

Condition

All four carvings are in general good condition with the exception of minute nicks to the extremities. The toad with some natural fissure in the stone, and with an aperture in one leg. The monkey with some shallow bruises in various areas and some minor fissure. The small mythical beast with its snout slightly ground. All slightly more celadon in colour than that illustrated in the catalogue.
