Description

  • 39.5 cm, 15 1/2  in.
of octagonal section, each side enclosing one of the Eight Immortals standing below clouds, the spout cast with a dragon head, the neck decorated with trigrams, the domed cover flanked by two rectangular insulators with flat covers

Condition

This warmer is in general good condition with the exception of some nicks and dents to the extremities, along with slight surface scratches, and rubbing of gilding, consistent with age. One of the flat covers for one insulator is a replacement. The dragon's head with a short chain possibly attached to a stopper now lost. With some dents along the sides where the handles rest.
